Reading and storing the saved values of storage in Global variables!

I think the topic is enough but please add an EASIER way to store saved values in global variables instead of scene variables!! I know this can be easily done by adding one or 2 more events and a variable but it would be EASIER,TIME SAVING and BETTER method to follow than the current method!!
