Animated gif as background

Is it possible to drag in an animated gif and use it as a background pic in GDevelop? If so, do I need to bring it in with Piksel?

You can’t use file with .gif extension. You need split GIF animation into separate frames

As @diana23570 says is not possible to do it with .gif files you can extract all the frames of your gif with an app or a website https://ezgif.com/split
